Your Session
One hour on-location photo session: While our session will generally take place within this time frame, some people may take a bit longer to warm up to my camera. I will work with you until I feel I’ve captured enough moments you will be pleased with. Any longer than this time frame, however, often results in hungry and tired children (and adults). For family and children sessions, I will encourage your children to play while having their picture taken and to have fun!
The Location
The location you choose will affect the mood, lighting, and personal touch of your photos. Please carefully consider a few options and then I can help you make your final choice during our consultation. Select a natural location where your child can run and play or daydream under a tree. If your home is the most comfortable, or if you have a new arrival, areas in front of large windows or glass doors will be essential, since my goal is to utilize only natural light during our session. Also, don’t be afraid to select unique settings such as an urban location that may have special meaning or unusual features.
Picking the outfit / What to Wear
As you are thinking about your wardrobe, keep a few things in mind that layers, textures, and accessories add interest to your outfit. After the Session
Following your session, I carefully select the best images for processing and retouching. I devote time and attention to enhance each image into a true work of art. Your final images will be presented in a custom proofing gallery, which may easily be shared with family and friends.
I will happily be available to answer any of your questions or assist you with the ordering process and make suggestions on the best ways to show off your portraits. I offer a variety of fine art products (canvas prints, print wraps, etc.), digital images, albums, and photo boots to suit every client. All of my products are the highest quality to ensure that your custom art will be enjoyed for generations!
